Uttar Pradesh: In a spine-chilling incident, a 19-year-old youth allegedly murdered his 49-year-old father after being unable to handle the immense pressure to study medicine. The accused not only shot his father but also dismembered the body into pieces and stored them in a blue drum for disposal. The incident, which has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh Crime), has left the local community in deep shock. The accused son has been taken into custody.
According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Manvendra Singh. His elder son is currently serving in the Uttar Pradesh Police. His younger son, Akshat, was academically bright and had scored well in his Class 12 exams. Consequently, Manvendra Singh was persistent about Akshat clearing the NEET (NEET Exam) and becoming a doctor.
Police reports suggest that the incident occurred on February 20 at around 4:30 AM. Following a heated argument over his studies, Akshat allegedly shot his father in a fit of rage. The gruesome act was witnessed by Akshat’s sister, whom he reportedly threatened into silence.
To cover up the crime, Akshat chopped the body into several pieces. He stuffed some parts into a blue drum and transported the remaining remains in a car to dump them in a remote area. On Monday, while he was heading out to dispose of the parts kept in the drum, a patrolling police team grew suspicious and intercepted him. Upon inspection, the horrific reality came to light, leading to his immediate detention.
During interrogation, Akshat revealed that he worked at his father's liquor shop, earning a monthly salary of 17,000. However, he was unhappy with his life and deeply frustrated by his father’s constant pressure to pass the NEET exam. This mental stress eventually led to the fatal confrontation. The police have recovered the rifle and bullets used in the crime, and a search is ongoing for the remaining body parts.
